Start Your Healing Journey: Introducing the Balanced Mind Workbook

There was a time in my life when I was just trying to survive.
I know the weight of emotional chaos, waking up with heaviness in your chest, trying to hold it all together for everyone else, and wondering if peace will ever return.

I also know what it feels like to finally whisper, “I can’t do this anymore,” and choose healing anyway.
That choice changed everything.

I wrote From Surviving to Thriving for women who are carrying burdens they never asked for, grief, trauma, anxiety, burnout, abandonment and are still showing up every day. I have sat across many people in all areas of life who struggle with the same challenges and are not finding the strength to keep going. I decided I would be their cheerleader in some form. This workbook is for you, if you’re ready to allow someone to come to your side and give you the tools to keep going by sharing what worked for me.

 What’s Inside the Workbook?

  • Guided journaling prompts for emotional awareness and release
  • Tools to build self-compassion and challenge negative thinking
  • Sections on grief, anxiety, mindset, and spiritual grounding
  • Space to track progress and reconnect with purpose
  • Encouraging quotes and check-in exercises

This is more than a workbook, it’s a wellness companion.

 Who It’s For

This is not a surface-level self-help guide. It’s a faith-rooted, trauma-informed journey toward healing.

Each of the 8 chapters includes:

  • A deeply personal reflection and teaching
  • Therapeutic tools and mental wellness guidance
  • Journal prompts to explore your own story
  • Space to write, release, and reclaim your peace

A glimpse of what’s inside:

Chapter 1: When Life Shakes You

“The cracks in my story, the ones I used to hide from, are the very places where the light breaks through.”

This chapter walks you through the moments when life feels like chaos—and helps you breathe, ground yourself, and rediscover your footing. It includes a storm survival toolkit and reflective writing space.

Chapter 2: Unleashing Your Inner Warrior

“Your inner warrior isn’t the person you pretend to be for others. It’s the part of you that refuses to give up.”

You’ll be guided to reconnect with the strength you already have through practical tools and truth-telling mantras.

Chapter 4: Transforming Wounds into Wisdom

“Healing doesn’t mean forgetting. Healing means learning to carry our wounds with grace.”

This chapter is deeply personal. I share how trauma impacted my sense of identity—and how I learned to use my story to help others. You’ll explore forgiveness, growth, and emotional release.

What Makes This Workbook Different?

  • Written by a Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who has also walked through abuse, betrayal, foster care, heartbreak, and spiritual healing.
  • Blends clinical insight with faith-based truth
  • Includes grounding exercises, prayer space, and practical prompts
  • Encourages action and reflection without shame

This is for the woman who’s done pretending. Who knows she can’t heal overnight, but is ready to heal intentionally.
